A: We have SOP of clean manufacturing, and we have also implemented a company wide effort to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 in the workplace, HR has communicated to all employees above and beyond our Clean Manufacturing SOP and asked them to do the following:
– Stay home when you are sick. (All personnel will be paid regardless of PTO status)
– Wash your hands with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds immediately when entering the building. Sanitize all door handles, buttons, and control knobs and surfaces.
– Cover your mouth with tissues whenever you sneeze, and discard used tissues in the trash. Wash and sanitize hands immediately after touching your face or other person.
– Avoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms.
– Frequently touched surfaces, wear disposable covers on production floor.

We have provided employees with large containers of alcohol-based hand sanitizer throughout the workplace and in common areas.  As well as provided cleaning sprays and wipes to clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as telephones and keyboards.

We asked employees not report to work while they are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills or fatigue. Also, to remain at home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever (100 degrees F or 37.8 degrees C) or signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medications.
